Our Story

Avenity Business Solutions was founded in Montgomery, TX by Andrea Katen and Daniel Katen, a former Manufacturing Record Book Review specialist who worked newbuild and repair MRBs on deepwater drilling vessels. When AI began displacing that technical role, Daniel didn’t just observe the shift happening, he was impacted by the displacement in his own industry. He studied it, built a response to it, and turned that understanding into a framework that helps businesses compete in the new AI-powered search environment.
The AI Visibility Authority Engine wasn’t built by a generic marketing agency trying to add an AI service to their menu. It was built by someone who understood firsthand how AI systems evaluate, trust, and recommend information and who then applied that understanding to local and service-based businesses.
